Asking your Doctor to prescribe Generic Phentermine or some other weight loss pill is a short cut. Here are seven (7) simple tricks for last weight loss:
- Clear your environment of unnecessary calories – weight loss requires that you take charge of your environment. Try to get rid of high-calorie, high-fat foods that are in your refrigerator and kitchen, and replace them with healthy, low-fat options.
- Non-stick is the way to cook – always cook with non-stick sprays and pans. That way, you’ll automatically save 100 calories each and every time (because you’ll be eliminating the margarine, butter or oil that is used to grease the pan). Or, when frying or sauteing, try to coat the non-stick pan with a spritz of vegetable oil cooking spray. Also, try to use fresh, full-flavored ingredients (to cut the need for fattening oils and butter to add flavor).
- Frozen dinners are low calorie – supermarkets stock numerous delicious low fat meal alternatives. Simply add vegetables and fruit to boost the nutrients, and you’ll save 300-500 calories every time you have a frozen dinner instead of ordering fast food or having a high-fat meal. You can have four (4) frozen dinners per week and be in with a chance of losing a minimum of 18-30 pounds per year.
- Don’t deny your sweet tooth, satisfy it – if you deny your sweet tooth, almost certainly, binging will follow. Satisfy your cravings with a low-calorie (120 calories) that you can have everyday. Try to limit your intake of ‘rich’ desserts to just once a week (you’ll save approximately 380 calories per day for six days).
- Try the dilution solution – one 32-oz soda has approximately 400 calories. Try to fill your cup with ice every time that you have a soda – so you end up drinking maybe as little of a half of the liquid that the cup can actually hold. Also, try to gradually substitute soda with water, sparkling water or natural juice – to cut calories permanently from your diet on a daily basis.
- Eat slowly and don’t stuff yourself – let satiety register. It takes the stomach 20 minutes to send “full” signals to the brain, but you’ll save approximately 100 calories each time that you stop eating when you’re almost full (instead of eating until you’re stuffed).
- Cut down your meat intake – eat less meat, and eat more of certain types of meat. If you eat fish instead of red meat four times per week, you’ll save 200-300 calories every time. Try to grill, broil or steam your preparations.
Good luck!

According to a study that was reported at the 17th European Congress on Obesity (ECO) – May 7, 2009 – patients with obesity who took either of two different dose combinations of Phentermine plus controlled-release (CR) Topiramate (VI-0521) lost more weight than patients who were taking either drug alone or placebo.
It was noted that both dose combinations were well tolerated over the 6 months of the phase 3, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study. The researchers randomized 756 patients to 1 of 7 treatment groups. The 4 single-drug groups were treated with Phentermine at 7.5 or 15 mg, or Topiramate CR at 46 or 92 mg. The 2 combination groups received VI-0521 7.5/46, which contained Phentermine 7.5 mg plus Topiramate CR 46 mg, or VI-0521 15/92, which contained Phentermine 15 mg plus Topiramate CR 92 mg. A seventh group received placebo.
In addition to the drug treatment, all patients were given lifestyle and exercise advice and followed a diet that cut their calories by 500 kcal/day. The mean age of all patients was 45.6 +- 11.9 years and 79% were women.
One of the first steps to real / effective weight loss, is managing and watching what you eat. With this in mind, you need to understand the different types of food that you ingest, and how they may impact your weight loss efforts. Today we focus on trans fats.
Trans fats are manufactured fats. How / why? Manufacturers change natural fat to trans fats in order to prolong the shelf life of bread, milk substitutes and desserts. A tiny amount exists in nature, but the problem dosage comes from food that is produced in factories.
The 411:
Source – manufactured food, especially baked goods. Imitation dairy products, hard margarines and some cheeses in particular. Also note, trans fats make shortening harder.
Benefits – none really .. so stay away from them
Caution – read food labels carefully to see which products contain trans fats. The U.S. Government now requires that trans fats used be listed on product labels.
Danger – Trans fats are associated with increased bad cholesterol, and can float around in your system – getting in the way of nutrients. Additionally, the residue can be solid at body temperature, thus it’s like wax floating around in your blood stream.
The bottom line is that you should avoid trans fats – eat as little products as possible that contain trans fats.
Before requesting a course of Generic Phentermine or some other weight loss pill from your doctor, here are five suggestions about how you can try to take control of your weight today:
- Get physical – if your corner store is a block away, don’t jump in the car to go there. WALK.
- Plan to do regular physical activities – whether simply walking around the block every other day or actually joining a running or workout club … do something, and no, lying in the sofa doesn’t count!
- Make an effort to eat healthy. Forget the fast food, it’s satisfying your hunger, but also making you fat and unhealthy. There are lots of healthy options for you to consider, and no, you don’t need to go vegetarian in order to do this.
- Get a skipping rope. You probably skipped a bit when you were a child. Do you remember how? Try it.
- Find a like-minded person who you can be close to and try to motivate each other.
Numerous studies have confirmed that there is a definite correlation between your environment and the state of your health. Interestingly, recent studies have indicated a link between the “built environment” and obesity. Unplanned communities can apparently impact people’s decision to engage in physical activity, and can result in citizens with increased body mass.
Studies right here in the U.S. have found that areas with more bus routes, trains and other means of transportation result in citizens/commuters doing at least some walking during the day, and that people living in these areas tend to show lower body mass index than others living in areas where personal transportation (motor car etc.) is the main means of travel.
Additionally, urban environments with a high density of fast-food stores and few green groceries tend to limit the opportunity for healthy meal options, thus the obvious happens – the population in these areas tend to have increased body mass.
These are just a few of the environmental factors that could be affecting your weight. Undoubtedly there are others, and simply asking your doctor for a course of Generic Phentermine should not be your first thought or course of action. Take control of your life and your environment in an effort to lose weight and stay healthy!
Yes, doctor-prescribed and monitored Generic Phentermine taken in conjunction with a smart workout and meal plan is a healthy way to lose weight, but here are some suggestions to making it fun while losing weight the healthy way:
- Try to incorporate longer walks in your day-to-day routine – go to the local park, walk to buy something, check out nature trails, walk your pets, drive to the beach then walk along the beach, go on a picnic.
- Use the stairs instead of the lift – especially if you’re going up just one, two or even three flights of stairs. Every single step helps you to lose weight – the healthy way.
- If you take the bus daily, get off the bus one stop early, and walk the rest of the way.
- If you’re watching television, jump up during the commercial breaks and do some sort of exercise in between. Having an exercise bicycle in your living room would be quite handy for this.
- Watch your calorie intake – eat less, eat smarter and eat healthy. Don’t crash diet!
- Drink more water. In fact, as much as possible, have water instead of pop, juices and other drinks with artificial sweeteners.
- Cut down on beer and alcohol. Doesn’t sound like much fun, but your body will eventually appreciate and show it.
- Watch and track your weight on a weekly basis. Know where you’re at, know your goal.
- Be patient and persevere – your weight loss efforts won’t pay off overnight … but keep at it and they eventually will.
- Reward yourself with non-food items when you’ve achieved certain targets. A new CD, whatever … just not more food to distract you.
- Share your joy with everyone around … even the naysayers and negative ones. Let them know where you’ve reached and where you’re coming from.
Hope these tips help to make you lose weight the healthy way!
These three words – healthy diet & exercise – are the key to fighting obesity. This is particularly important for women because surveys have showed that the percentage of overweight and obese women is double that of men.
Obesity is not only associated with conditions that affect both women and men (e.g. as hypertension, diabetes and arthritis) but is also linked to many conditions that are quite unique to us women. For example, pregnancy complications that are associated with obesity include an increased risk of miscarriages, having a large baby, gestational hypertension and diabetes. Other conditions that are also linked to obesity in women include polycystic ovary syndrome as well as endometrial and breast cancers.
So now that I’ve highlighted just how bad obesity can be for us women, what can we do about it? Healthy diet & exercise!
Exercise
Numerous studies have shown that exercise is an extremely important component in both achieving and maintaining weight loss. Finding the time seems to be regular cry here, but I’ll put it to you that if you can find the time for the things that you enjoy and which are important to you, then you’ll find the time to EXERCISE. Many physical activities can count as exercise – dance lessons, jogging, riding a bike, walking your dog, playing tennis, workout at the gym, and the list goes on. EXERCISE!
How often should you exercise? Everyday. The amount of exercise that a person requires will depend on his/her specific health needs, including factors such as whether or not they’re overweight or have heart disease. Typically however, us women should aim for between 30 and 60 minutes of moderate intensity exercise daily … or at least most days of the week.
For all women who are embarking on a weight- or health- maintenance program, I strongly encourage you to explore and try different types of exercise until you find one that excites you, and works for you. Yes, generic Phentermine combined with a good plan is also a good way to go, but I encourage you to find some physical activity, that doesn’t necessarily even involve going to a gym – it could be as simple as walking or maybe dancing along to your favorite song! Have fun
One of the first steps to real / effective weight loss, is managing and watching what you eat. With this in mind, you need to understand the different types of food that you ingest, and how they may impact your weight loss efforts. Today we focus on Polyunsaturated Fat.
Polyunsaturated Fat generally is oil that’s extracted from vegetables – soy mostly (but also corn and safflower oil). Polyunsaturated fatty acids reportedly lower levels of both good and bad cholesterol. You can find polyunsaturated fat in the various vegetable oils that you may buy at your supermarket, in margarine and in some dairy substitutes that use plant oil (e.g. coffee creamers).
Ultimately, the only real benefit of polyunsaturated fat is that it is NOT saturated fat (i.e. the bad fat that is blamed for clogging arteries, causing heart attacks etc.).
Cooking with polyunsaturated fat oils will reduce your intake of saturated fat, but not your calorie intake. For example, one piece of fried chicken can still deliver up to 300 calories because it has been bathed in oil. Additionally, some early studies have shown a possible association with cancer.
Ultimately, you should try not to use Polyunsaturated fat products at all. It’s better than saturated fat, but still not great. Don’t fry, but if you must, brush it on the frying pan then saute it at a low heat. Don’t submerge your food in the oil.
Weight loss isn’t simply about popping Generic Phentermine pills at leisure and waiting for the weight to disappear. It’s also all about healthy eating. Here are a few healthy eating tips for you:
- Choose lean meats and poultry without skin, and prepare them without added saturated and trans fat.
- Choose fat-free, one per cent fat and low-fat dairy products.
- Cut back on foods that contain partially hydrogenated vegetable oils – in order to reduce trans fat in your diet.
- Cut back on foods that are high in dietary cholesterol. You should aim to eat less than 300 milligrams of cholesterol each day.
- Cut back on beverages and foods that have added sugars.
- Choose and prepare foods with little or no salt. You should aim to eat less than 2,300 milligrams of sodium per day.
- If you drink alcohol, drink in moderation. i.e. one drink per day for women and two drinks per day for men.
- When you eat out, keep an eye on your portion sizes. Smaller is obviously better.
Good luck on your quest to lose weight!
